A detail of La Seine seen from the Tour Eiffel to enpict the Île des Cygnes. This was taken from the 2nd level of Tour Eiffel (Eiffel Tower / Eiffelturm), facing southwest.

Do you see the small version of the Statue of Liberty on the far end of the Île des Cygnes? It is facing west to New York city since 1889 when it was built here three years after its brother in NYC.
